Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Beaver thwarts McGuffey
December 27, 2012: Beaver, PA 15009 The Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) basketball felled the visiting McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA), 59-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Mohawk Area defeated Western Beaver (Industry, PA), 43-37, in a non-league test.
The Highlanders now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Western Beaver for a non-league test on Friday, December 28. McGuffey will clash with a Golden Beavers squad coming off a 43-37 non-league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 1-6.
