September 19, 2015: Capitol Heights, MD 20743 Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the host Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD), 13-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Largo improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Forestville Military Academy (Forestville, MD) to play the Knights in a Prince George's County 1A battle on Friday, September 25. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Forestville Military Academy won 7-0 in their recent league battle against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD)
Coming up next, the Hornets play the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A battle, on Saturday, September 26. Fairmont Heights will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 43-0 non-league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD).
