January 3, 2018: Coquille, OR 97423 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR), by a count of 56-12.
The Red Devils (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR). The Billies go into the 3A Mountain Valley outing with a 12-2 record.
The Bobcats now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Waldport for a 2A Sunset outing on Friday, January 12. Myrtle Point will clash with a Irish squad coming off a 38-25 non-league loss to Siuslaw (Florence, OR). The Irish record now stands at 2-11.
