North Carolina High School Baseball - South Robeson loses to East Columbus
May 5, 2010: Rowland, NC 28383 The East Columbus Gators crushed the host South Robeson Mustangs baseball team by a tally of 12-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Gators now hold a 15-4 record.

East Columbus Coach Karl Bracey captured at least a share of conference ground with 12-0 win putting their conference record at 9-1. The Gators scored 10 runs in the 1st with Freshman C Ben Connor 1-3,2R,HR,4RBI powering his 2nd Grand Slam of the year. Juniors DH Demetri Anders 2-3,2R,2B,RBI and RF Ty Freeman 1-3,R,2B,3RBI along with Sophmores CF David Bridgers 2-3,3R and 3B Hunter Smith 1-3,2B,RBI were leading hitters. Junior RHP Skylar Bowen 3IP,2H,2K,2BB was the winner with Sophmore LHP Forrest Wayne 2IP,2H,5K in releif. South Robeson's T. Carter 0.2IP,6H,10R,9ER,K,3BB was the loser with C.
