January 17, 2012: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Point Pleasant Knights topped the host Chapmanville Tigers basketball team by a final score of 87-72 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Knights face the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a Cardinal test, on Friday, January 20. Point Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 69-30 league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV).
The Tigers now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tug Valley for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Chapmanville will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 71-50 league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.
