Texas High School Basketball - Waxahachie trounced by Westlake
December 10, 2016: Waxahachie, TX 75165 The Westlake Chaparrals routed the host Waxahachie Indians basketball team by a final score of 75-41 in Saturday's non-league game.
The Chaparrals now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vandegrift for a 6A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, December 16. Westlake will confront a Vipers team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Vipers record now stands at 4-9.
The Indians (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars come into the 5A Region II District 10 battle with a 6-6 record.
