The Vestaburg Wolverines basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Sacred Heart Academy Irish to 49 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 1. Vestaburg will meet a Huskies team coming off a 71-38 league win over Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 6-12.
