California High School Basketball - Redwood over San Rafael
January 29, 2010: San Rafael, CA 94901 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) and the host San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA), saw Redwood's basketball squad knock off San Rafael by a score of 52-42.
With the victory, Redwood improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Giants host Novato (Novato, CA) to battle the Hornets in a Marin County challenge on Tuesday, February 2. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Novato lost 50-35 in their recent league challenge against Branson (Ross, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Tamalpais Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a Marin County challenge, on Tuesday, February 2. San Rafael will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 49-46 league loss to San Marin (Novato, CA).
