Utah High School Basketball - Wasatch topped by Skyline
December 2, 2016: Heber City, UT 84032 The Skyline Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Wasatch Wasps to 59 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Highland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. Skyline will play a Rams squad coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Borah (Boise, ID). The Rams record now stands at 0-7.
Next up, the Wasps play the Judge Memorial Bulldogs (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Wasatch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, UT).

Skyline jumped out to a great start scoring 25 points as Ben Knight scored 8 points, and Nifai Tonga scored 7. Wasatch scored 13 led by Ballstaedt with 6 points.
Second Quarter
Wasatch scored 16 led by Ballstaedt with 6 more. Skyline scored 14 led by Tonga with 6, went to half leading by 10.
Third Quarter
The wasps scored 18 points led by Ballstaedt with 8, narrowing the lead to 8. The Eagles scored 16 points led by Andrew Clark with 6.
Fourth Quarter
Skyline scored 14 points to win the game by 10, Andrew Durham scored 8 points in the fourth.
