Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 79-72 in a league bout.

With the win, Bartlett upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Golden Bears host Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to encounter the Lynx in a Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Dimond won 77-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Service will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 63-50 non-league win over West Valley (Fairbanks, AK).
