September 11, 2015: Calhoun, GA 30701 The Sonoraville Phoenix held off the visiting North Murray Mountaineers football team by a count of 13-7 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Sonoraville upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA) to encounter the Colts in a AAA Region 6 outing on Friday, September 18. The Colts come into the test with a record of 1-2. Coahulla Creek won 40-16 in their recent league test against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA)
With the loss, North Murray drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Calhoun (Calhoun, GA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a AAA Region 6 test on Friday, September 18. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 3-0.
