Vermont High School Basketball - Peoples Academy prevails Milton

Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT), 54-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peoples Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Lake Region (Orleans, VT) to play the Rangers in a Mountain bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Milton will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 47-41 non-league win over Lake Region (Orleans, VT).
