In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad edged the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), by a margin of 61-56.

The Phantoms (20-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 27-1 record. In their last outing, Bishop Montgomery held off JW North (Riverside, CA), 81-55, in a non-league outing.

The Sea Hawks now own a 21-6 record.
