Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 14. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-2 non-league Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ).

The Monsoon now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maryvale for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 14. Valley Vista will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
