Game Summary
The lady Knights traveled to Lebanon to play the lady Tigers in girls varsity soccer. The first half saw the lady Knights dominate possession and keep the Lebanon goalkeeper busy. Although we dominated possession, the first half ended and a zero to zero tie. In the second half we moved players around to try and get more speed on the attacking end of the field. By doing so we were able to apply more pressure on the lady Tigers back line and we were able to capitalize and get a goal about 15 minutes into the second half. Once we scored Lebanon seemed to pick up their intensity to try and get the equalizer. Lebanon was able to create a few of their own scoring opportunities but each time our back line and our goalkeeper Bay Ulery, was able to clear to ball or win the ball to keep Lebanon from scoring. For the game we were able to maintain roughly 60% of the possession, which was key for us winning the game today. Congratulations to all of the lady nights for their hard earned victory.
