Illinois High School Basketball - Magnolia thwarts Elgin
November 14, 2013: Elgin, IL 60120 The Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) basketball knocked off the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 70-62 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Katy (Katy, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Katy notched a victory over Cypress Creek (Houston, TX), 61-55, in a non-league test.
The Maroons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Belvidere for a non-league test on Monday, November 25.
