The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) and the visiting Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL), observed Nature Coast Tech's football squad defeat Springstead by a count of 35-12.

The Sharks now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a 5A District 7 contest on Friday, September 18. Nature Coast Tech will play a Bears squad coming off a 48-10 non-league win over Fivay (Hudson, FL). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
