Florida High School Soccer - Master's Academy overwhelmed by Seminole
January 19, 2017: Sanford, FL 32773 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Seminole Seminoles (Sanford, FL) and the visiting Master's Academy Eagles (Oviedo, FL), saw Seminole's soccer squad triumph over Master's Academy by a margin of 9-1.
The Seminoles now sport a 20-2 record. They play next when they host Lyman for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Seminole will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Freedom (Orlando, FL). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-13.
With the loss, Master's Academy drops to 3-14 on the season.
Game Summary
Last night the boy’s varsity soccer team picked up a convincing win on senior night. The 4 seniors Ryan Drohan, Connor Fogleman, Jordan Katz, and John Kozin were all honored before the game. Once the game started Jordan Katz, Ryan Drohan, John Matos, and Jacob Longway all had 2 goals each. Ashton Neff also added a goal. Assists were recorded by Nicholas Brahmbhatt, Travis, Xiang, John Matos, Mathias Etoh, Jordan Katz, Ryan Drohan, Noah Smith, and Jacob Longway. The Noles’ enter the district tournament on Monday at home vs Lyman on an 11 game winning streak. The playoff game kicks off at 7pm.
