In Wednesday's league outing, the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), by a margin of 71-32.

The Hillmen (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the Foothill Valley outing with a 9-14 record. In their last outing, Oakmont was trounced by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 62-58, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a Foothill Valley outing on Friday, February 1. Rio Linda will clash with a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 68-58 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 16-9.
