August 27, 2011: Columbus, OH 43209 The Bexley Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting New Lexington Panthers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worthington Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. Bexley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Whetstone (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Tornadoes enter the Muskingum Valley game with a 0-0 record.
