Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln Lutheran Warriors (Lincoln, NE), 66-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to David City (David City, NE) to play the Scouts in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 9. The Scouts go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 18. Lincoln Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 62-31 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE).
