September 19, 2009: Leesburg, AL 35983 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) and the visiting Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL), saw Sand Rock's volleyball squad beat Lee by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sand Rock upgrades its record to 25-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Madison County (Gurley, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 26-7. Madison County won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Butler (Huntsville, AL)
The Generals now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Scottsboro for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 19. Lee will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
