The Byrd Terriers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Northside Vikings to 57 in the Terriers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Terriers now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alleghany for a AA Blue Ridge contest on Thursday, February 5. Byrd will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 63-61 league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 11-12.

The Vikings (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the AA Blue Ridge contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Lord Botetourt ran past Alleghany (Covington, VA), 63-61, in a league contest.
