The St. Anthony Friars basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Iona Prep Gaels to 38 in the Friars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Friars now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Long Island Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. St. Anthony will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 64-58 non-league win over Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 17-2.

The Gaels (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY). The Mountaineers come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record.
