Mark Przybocki

Mark Przybocki has been named player of the year. "Przybocki being a team captain lived up to the responsibility on and off the field. Przybocki played on both sides of the ball. On Offense Mark was the H-back and Tight end. He blocked for the last 2 guys who rushed for over 1,500 yards the last two seasons. Przybocki was also the wildcat Quarterback when needed and had a great will to win. On Defense Przybocki led the team in Tackles at Middle Linebacker with 109 tackles in 2017. At Burke Catholic Football banquet, Coach Hasbrouck put it best, "Mark could play any position on the football field on both sides of the ball." Przybocki played Varsity Football all four years and watching him progress over the years was fun to watch. During his time on playing he had great moments watching him, run over defenders, leaping up to make an athletic garb of the ball, or throwing the big pancake block. On D he would be the reason that other teams were not successful. From Big hits to blocked passes and Kicks, he was our leader."
