Grant's stats have been entered for the loss vs. Greeley West on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018.
On Tuesday, Dec 4, 2018, the Thompson Valley JV Boys Basketball team lost their Greeley West, Main Court 1 game against Greeley West High School by a score of 26-53.
Grant Harris has been named player of the year. "Grant not only displayed his skill on the court, but most importantly, he displayed his leadership off of it. He acted as co-captain for the team all season, and his constant effort and skill-improvement inspired many of the other players throughout the year. As a player, he became a nightmare to guard. Grant played the Center position, due to his height and rebounding ability, yet he consistently spread the defense with his shooting ability. Even at roughly 6' 5", Grant developed into the best shooter on the team, routinely hitting long-range jumpers when it was needed most. His ability to finish strong in the paint, along with being able to hit the 3-pointer when needed, made guarding him a near impossible task. The most impressive thing about Grant was his joy for the game, along with his determination to always compete. Grant gave everything he had, on every possession, and never quit. He was a model player, and his effort culminated in our 15-1 season. He is what an MVP should be."
