Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), 26-8 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mars improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fightin' Planets travel to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-1. Pine-Richland lost 34-7 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the loss, Moon Area drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA) to battle the Cougars in a WPIAL AAA Parkway test on Friday, September 9. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-0. Blackhawk won 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Hampton (Allison Park, PA)
