The United Lions (Armagh, PA) basketball felled the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 54-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Saltsburg (Saltsburg, PA). The Trojans go into the Heritage test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Saltsburg went down by Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 55-42, in a league test.

The Stingers now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Penns Manor for a Heritage test on Thursday, January 19. Marion Center will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 60-57 league loss to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.
