South Carolina High School Softball - Broome bounces Clinton
March 23, 2018: Clinton, SC 29325 Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC), 13-3 in a league challenge.
The Centurions now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chapman for a AAA Region III test on Tuesday, March 27. Broome will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 8-3 league win over Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
The Red Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC). The Bengal come into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Brashier Middle College Charter was routed by St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC), 4-1, in a non-league test.
