Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Paul can't hold off Northshore
January 17, 2012: Slidell, LA 70461 The Northshore Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting St. Paul Wolves to 52 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slidell for a 5A District 6 contest on Friday, January 20. Northshore will meet a Tigers team coming off a 68-60 non-league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-12.
The Wolves (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 5A District 6 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Fontainebleau was nudged by Mandeville (Mandeville, LA), 40-38, in a league contest.
