Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Cy-Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX), 52-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress Ranch upgrades its record to 13-14 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 18-9. Cypress Falls won 58-55 in their recent league bout against Jersey Village (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 28. Cy-Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 56-41 league loss to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX).
