Colorado High School Basketball - Coal Ridge knocked off by Grand Valley
February 5, 2016: New Castle, CO 81647 The Grand Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Coal Ridge Titans to 38 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roaring Fork for a 3A Western Slope contest on Saturday, February 6. Grand Valley will battle a Rams team coming off a 35-22 league win over Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Rams record now stands at 5-9.
The Titans (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cowboys enter the 3A Western Slope contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Gunnison ran past Aspen (Aspen, CO), 38-20, in a league contest.
