The Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 65-52 in Friday's league test.

The Broncos (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings go into the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Benet Academy notched a victory over Marist (Chicago, IL), 69-63, in a league test.

The Cadets now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Providence-St. Mel for a Chicago Catholic - Red test on Friday, February 2. Marmion will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.
