May 7, 2019: Grand Forks, ND 58201 Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND), 6-2 in a league test.
With the win, Red River upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND) to battle the Firebirds in a Class A - East Region test on Friday, May 10. The Firebirds come into the test with a record of 6-6.
With the defeat, Wahpeton falls to 0-8 on the season. The Huskies travel to Shanley (Fargo, ND) to battle the Deacons in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Deacons come into the test with a record of 8-4. Shanley won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Fargo North (Fargo, ND)
