September 25, 2009: Atwood, KS 67730 The Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) football edged the host Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS), 20-16 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Trego Golden Eagles (WaKeeney, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 2. Decatur Community will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Goodland (Goodland, KS).
The Buffaloes (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Goodland (Goodland, KS). The Cowboys enter the Northwest Kansas bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Goodland nudged Trego (WaKeeney, KS), 36-0, in a non-league bout.
