California High School Basketball - Taft edges George Washington Prep

The Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) basketball nipped the host George Washington Prep Generals (Los Angeles, CA), 68-63 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Toreadors (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Sentinels go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Inglewood got by Serra (Gardena, CA), 55-47, in a non-league test.

The Generals now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westchester for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. George Washington Prep will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Hart (Newhall, CA). The Comets record now stands at 5-1.
