North Central Panthers (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Richmond (Richmond, IN) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Richmond won 57-35 in their recent league bout against Anderson (Anderson, IN)

Next up, the Bears play the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 8. Lawrence Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 79-71 league win over Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN).
