California High School Basketball - Pomona tipped by South Pasadena

The South Pasadena Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Pomona Red Devils to 58 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schurr for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. South Pasadena will meet a Spartans team coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.

The Red Devils (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Montclair (Montclair, CA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Montclair nudged Lemoore (Lemoore, CA), 70-53, in a non-league contest.
