In Friday's league battle, the host George Ranch Longhorns volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alief Taylor Lions.

The Longhorns (28-6) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region III District 23 battle with a 26-7 record. In their last battle, Dawson defeated Brazoswood (Clute, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
