The Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) basketball felled the host Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), 76-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Huskies (9-1) will now prepare for their test against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record.

The Mavericks now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 28. Mallard Creek will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 111-58 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 8-1.
