Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Telos (Orem, UT), 80-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Piute upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Duchesne (Duchesne, UT) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, March 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-12. Duchesne won 54-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph (Ogden, UT)
