The Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH), 54-37 in Monday's league test.

The Golden Gophers (2-17) will now prepare for their test against Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Tigers go into the Northwest Central test with a 4-14 record.

The Polar Bears now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a Northwest Central test on Friday, February 16. Hardin Northern will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH). The Comets record now stands at 22-4.
