Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Parowan Rams (Parowan, UT), 36-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Valley upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Buffalos host Piute (Junction, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a 1A Region 20 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Piute won 74-40 in their recent league bout against Water Canyon (Hurricane, UT)

Next up, the Rams play the Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) in a 1A Region 20 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Parowan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Badgers come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 56-36 league loss to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT).
