The Yazoo County Panthers basketball team (Yazoo City, MS), was overwhelmed 51-22 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS)

The Pirates now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Northwest Rankin for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Pearl will battle a Cougars team coming off a 66-60 non-league loss to Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 4-10.
