St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rancho Christian Eagles (Temecula, CA), 72-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. John Bosco upgrades its record to 22-7 on the season.

Next up, the Eagles play the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 27. Rancho Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 26-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 20-8 record after their 80-69 non-league loss to Crespi (Encino, CA).
