September 29, 2018: Aurora, MO 65605 The Liberty Blue Jays (Liberty, MO) softball routed the host Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Blue Jays (32-15) will now prepare for their bout against Republic (Republic, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 15-4 record. In their last bout, Republic was routed by Kickapoo (Springfield, MO), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
The Houn Dawgs now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to East Newton for a Class 3 District 12 bout on Monday, October 1. Aurora will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 7-12.
