California High School Baseball - Jewish Community loses to St. Lawrence
April 11, 2013: San Francisco, CA 94115 The Jewish Community Wolves baseball team (San Francisco, CA), was overwhelmed 16-4 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting St. Lawrence Celtics (Santa Clara, CA)
The Celtics now hold a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Valley Baptist for a Private School outing on Monday, April 15. St. Lawrence will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 20-10 league loss to Alma Heights Christian (Pacifica, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
Next, the Wolves confront the Mid-Peninsula Dragons (Menlo Park, CA) in a Private School outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Jewish Community will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Dragons go into the outing with a 0-6 record after their 6-4 league loss to Summit Prep (Redwood City, CA).
Game Summary
The Celtics continued their march atop the PSAL with their second five-inning win over the Wolves in as many days. Saint Lawrence (8-0 PSAL) stormed to a 12-0 lead after three innings, highlighted by Addison Mock's two-run triple and Vinny Camarda's RBI single in the first inning. Mock later slammed a two-run home run. Mock, Camarda, and Sebastian Gonzalez all had two hits for the Celtics.
