Pennsylvania High School Football - Cocalico sneaks past Conestoga Valley
October 29, 2010: Lancaster, PA 17601 The Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA) football nudged the host Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA), 41-35 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 bout, on Friday, November 5. Cocalico will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Golden Mules enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 20-17 league win over Garden Spot (New Holland, PA).
The Buckskins (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA). The Pioneers enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Lampeter-Strasburg held off Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA), 28-6, in a league bout.
