The Indian Hills Braves (Oakland, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ), 55-50 in Sunday's non-league test.

The Braves (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against River Dell (Oradell, NJ). The Golden Hawks go into the Big North - VI bout with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, River Dell was edged by Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ), 56-52, in a league bout.
