The Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) baseball trounced the host Forest Hills Yellowjackets (Marshville, NC), 9-3 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 14. Central Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Stallions come into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Carolina Royals (Charlotte, NC).
